Haydn's The Creation Enthralls Rancho Santa Fe Audience Members
San Diego Chamber Orchestra and Bach Collegium San Diego Chorus

Audience members at the Del Mar Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe responded to the performance of Franz Joseph Haydn's masterpiece The Creation by the San Diego Chamber Orchestra and the Bach Collegium San Diego chorus on Tuesday, February 10, with enthusiasm and a standing ovation. It was a full house and included members of the Harvard Club San Diego.

Guest Conductor Ruben Valenzuela (founder and music director of Bach Collegium San Diego) led the exceptional ensemble of period-style singers that captured the original style of the period and the Orchestra, well-known for offering their audience members memorable music experiences.

Three outstanding guest artists sang the parts of Gabriel and Eve, Uriel, Raphael and Adam: Soprano Anne-Marie Dicce, Tenor Vladimir Maric and Bass John Polhamus.

The Orchestra is scheduled to perform a unique Mendelssohn program, including a dramatic presentation of A Midsummer Night's Dream (with actors) and another child prodigy, violinist Jay Oh, performing Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto, in March.

ickets are also now available for The Magic of Music , a much-anticipated gala for the San Diego Chamber Orchestra, scheduled for March 28 at the Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa
