 Bio of Auctioneer Bill Menish
Few professional auctioneers can be called "Emmy Award winner," but our auctioneer for The Magic of Music gala can. In fact, he is a fifteen-time Emmy Award Winner. He's also the recipient of the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award among others. Many of you may recognize Bill from his days as the morning news anchor with NBC 7/39.
But Bill made a giant leap, exchanging the anchor desk for an auctioneer's podium. Voluntarily giving up the spotlight to follow another passion - helping non-profit organizations reach record-setting levels in fundraising. He has raised tens of millions of dollars for non-profit organizations across the country. He has teamed up with Hollywood stars like Martin Sheen, Diane Keaton Larry King and Paris Hilton, with rock stars Avril Lavigne and Switchfoot among others.
