Jung-Ho Pak: For the Love of Music (Greg Merino Photography)
|
The San Diego Chamber Orchestra and the Rancho Santa Fe Community Center are partnering to anchor a new "talk show" series, “For the Love of Music,” at the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, the event's sponsor. Modeled after the format of the Bravo TV show, “Inside the Actors’ Studio,” the series will be hosted by Jung-Ho Pak, Artistic Director of the San Diego Chamber Orchestra and will feature a guest on each program. The first program of the series on February 12 will feature Valerie Scher, San Diego Union-Tribune’s Classical Music Critic, as an on-stage guest. She will discuss the insider’s life of a music reviewer in today’s world of media. The audience will be given the opportunity to ask questions during the last few minutes of the program. A second program will feature a guest artist on April 8. For more information.
