The Next Star Concert: Hottest Ticket in Town!

The Next Star concert promises to be one of the best of the season for Orchestra Nova guests. Not only will audience members get to vote for their favorite of the three finalists who will perform with the orchestra for The Next Star talent competion, they will also get to hear the orchestra perform Schubert's Symphony No. 5. Find out more about this fantastic evening.
A world's first for classical music talent competition, the winner will be selected from a combination of Internet and audience voting in addition to voting from the Orchestra Nova musicians. These three extraordinarily talented amateur musicians have made it through two rounds. Internet voting is in process now and will close on Thursday, March 4. Check out their videos and vote now!
Audience members will vote at each of the three concerts (March 5, 6 and 8) and a final winner will be announced after the last concert. Buy a ticket to the concert now!

Great News About Our Fundraising Efforts

You did make the difference! We met the $30,000 Parker Foundation Challenge grant. In fact, we exceeded that grant and expect to be announcing two more challenge grants very soon. Over 150 donor families responded - the majority were new donors.
We're not "out of the woods" yet, but we know we're on the right path! Your response to our requests for financial support has underscored our belief in that. We are very appreciative of your support!
AND we're announcing a special Benefit Concert that will have everyone talking - eight-year old pianist Umi Garrett, straight from the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Put May 21 on your calendar. More details to come later.
