A New Era for the Orchestra
Irwin M. Jacobs Qualcomm Hall
We're beginning our 26th season with a new name and a new venue as we expand our unique classical music experience, under the outstanding leadership of Artistic Director and Conductor Jung-Ho Pak, to reach a wider, more diverse audience of all generations.
Adding more excitement to the mix is our move next season to the acoustically perfect, gorgeous and comfortable Irwin M. Jacobs Qualcomm Hall in Sorrento Valley. It's state-of-the-art technology gives us an opportunity to maximize the use of audio and video to support our vision of bringing incomparable experiences for our guests in the future.
We will continue our concerts in our downtown venue at St. Paul's Cathedral and in La Jolla at the Museum of Contemporary Art's Sherwood Auditorium.
And, of course, we'll continue our popular Masterpiece Messiah at three churches this year in addition to our Pops at the Center concerts (sponsored by Jean and Bob Will) at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido.
