Orchestra Nova's own Principal Cellist, Erin Breene, one of the most exciting young performers in classical music today, will perform Haydn's Concerto No. 1 with the orchestra on November 20, 21 and 23 for the Haydn Seek series of concerts.

 

Always full of surprises for his guests, Maestro Pak will not disappoint with this concert as he ends the concert in a most surprising manner with Symphony No. 45 (Farewell Symphony).

Classics 4 Kids presents Rhythm, Rhyme, and Ragtime on Sunday, November 22, 2009, 2:00 p.m. at Balboa Theatre.

Join musicians of the Classics Philharmonic and guests from Malashock Dance as they explore the rhythms and movements of ragtime and jazz by composers Scott Joplin, Igor Stravinsky and more. Composer and author James Woodward makes an appearance and Dave Scott from KUSI will narrate this toe-tapping, fun-filled show!
